Ocular Diseases Detection

Our autonomous screening detects 12 different sight-threatening indications, enabling early diagnosis, treatment and prevention. These conditions include glaucoma, AMD, DME, occlusions, hypertensive retinopathy, and papilledema.

Systemic Diseases Detection

Using simple retinal images, our system is able to detect systemic diseases, providing opportunities for early intervention and the potential prevention of serious, potentially life-threatening conditions. These conditions include diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, intraocular cancer, and dementia (alpha).

Disease Prediction 

Our novel AI model is capable of predicting disease onset before diagnosable symptoms manifest, offering patients an opportunity for early intervention and potential disease prevention. These conditions include localized and systemic conditions.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is a common complication of diabetes, and the leading cause of blindness in American working-age adults. It is caused by damage to the blood vessels in the retina due to prolonged high blood sugar levels and other risk factors. In early stages symptoms are often unrecognized, however when left undetected, it can cause blindness.
High blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes cause damage throughout the body, including to blood vessels in the retina, resulting in progressive loss of vision if left untreated. The risk for developing diabetic retinopathy increases with time and high blood sugar. Long periods of high blood sugar lead to accumulation of fluid in the blood vessels, causing blockages or leaks that affect vision.
